The Midnight Stroll
One afternoon Sean tells me he wants to go for a walk. We walk. I tell him I want to have a story by the time we're done walking. So when we reach his house, I have my story. Nothing special. If I didn't know any better, I'd swear it was made up of spare parts from The Twilight Zone.
Interior scenes were shot that same Saturday night. Exteriors were shot on Monday. No storyboard or rehearsals. The simpler the better.
Hope you all enjoy it. It's essentially a train set of Sean and I messing around, and the last third does diverge a bit; but let's hope that this is the start of a new trend.

I loved this! I think all the shots were very nice. The shot of Sean pacing felt a little awkward, maybe it could be nicer if it were tighter. The story was simple yet very entertaining. Keep it up!

I just seen the Twilight Zone Episode that you probably got the idea from. It was titled Mirror Image. And although this was almost a copy of a work done almost fifty years ago, I have to say it came off very original. Very compelling. My only complaint on it was that it was to short. I’d would have loved to see another 2 to 4 minutes more after Sean closes the door on Peter. Just to set up the real reality that it is in fact Peter # 2, just a small dialogue of Sean thinking Peter was messing with him and just a little past midway through he realizes that it is a double. Or Sean getting mad that Peter may be pranking him and throws him out, only to cut to the scene where Peter finds Sean’s double… I don’t know…. Just some ideas.. But regardless very nice piece of work.. and thanks for sharing it.
Right on the nose, Adam. Before I started writing, I suddenly remembered Mirror Image. I double-checked the structure of my story and felt it was too similar (subconsciously inspired?). So Sean and I started listing ways in which my story could be different, especially the ending.
