Hellboy II – The Golden Army

Peter… Underwhelming, but worth it for the characters.
Sean…. Cool; better than the original.
Neil….. Too much fluff that distracts, but worth seeing.

Fresh off a nine-to-five shift, we went and saw Hellboy II. Neil, our friend and “boss,” tagged along as guest reviewer. As always, our reviews are unscripted and improvised, and shot at least an hour after the theater.

      Guys, the new intro and closeout are cool, but the added waver, static jump, and frame crud have got to go.
      The object of the exercise is to make it look ***good***, right?

      Thanks for the suggestions, Al. We’re still in the process of finding the “sweet spot” for our movie reviews, and so any outside input helps.
      There will certainly be fewer intrusive elements in our next review; but the style itself will remain intact. Because little actual pre-planning goes into these shoots, the episodes require a flexible style.
