We use a Sennheiser MKH-60.

The Canon 7D doesn’t allow you to record 60 fps at full 1080 resolution, so the next best thing is to use 30 fps, which it does allow. It’s simply a limitation of the camera. 60 fps equals very smooth slow motion, 30 fps is only slightly slow motion.

What mic do you guys use? And can you please explain that in 60fps it’s not 1080i which is why you recommend 30fps? I hope I asked the question in a way you can understand…I’m VERY confused???! Thx!!!
