Beginner Editing
Peter tells you all the little things he knows about how to properly cut your footage together. He'll ramble about stuff like "leading the viewer's eye" and "cut between movement" - principles of movie editing. For some reason, though, Sean keeps interrupting him; and later on, Peter steps outside to look at a lawn gnome.
Stick around long enough and Sean will speak out about why, in his experience, Macs are almost no different than PCs when it comes to editing.

great info, guys.
Whatever you’re best in is the best program. I’m used to audio editing program interfaces, so vegas wasn’t too much of a change for me when I started using it. Premiere and Final Cut are just different interfaces…
to each his own… the final product is what really counts…
Great tips on the editing techniques. I do have a question though. I currently use Vegas Studio 7 and I was looking to do more effects but Studio seems very limited. Would you suggest that I upgrade to the full version of Vegas 7 or go with Premiere? Or is there a better solution that you may know of for doing split screen, wire removal, masking and chroma keying?
Keep up the great work
